Attention Runners:
The Ghost is wrecking havoc on our race! The BLM ( Bureau of Land Management) informed us that we have to change our race date till Sunday, March 11 for safety reasons. There are 200 motorcycles that will be crossing our race course on Saturday. The BLM has asked us to move the event to Sunday for a safer race.
We just learned this and are switching the venue to Sunday. If any participants,currently registered, can not switch to Sunday you can get a full refund or transfer to a future race.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. This totally blindsided us and we seriously think its the Ghost!

Legend has it that the ghost is still hanging around the Pioneer Saloon in Good Springs, Nevada. Don't be afraid! We understand that he just likes to throw a beer at customers every now and then!! If you don't mind that, then come on out and visit the ghost!
Run on beautiful desert trails in Southern Nevada and have a beer at the finish line at the oldest bar in Clark County, Nevada. The race begins and ends at the legendary Pioneer Saloon, complete with a general store and outdoor firepits for your friends and family to enjoy while you traverse remote trails, pass through sagebrush and desert terrain, on your adventure in the heart of the old west.
This is trail running at it's best!
There will be awards, medals, t-shirts, warm food, music and beer!
Registration Fees:
50K $75
Half Marathon $60
10K $45
Cut off for the 50K is 10 hours
No cutoff for the Half Marathon and 10K since the course will still be open for the 50K

The course is a gently rolling dirt trail, out in the middle of nowhere! The dirt road is the original old road to California that the Pioneers used 100 years ago. It curves through rustic canyons amid scattered cactus and brislecone pine. It is pure untouched desert landscape out in the open country of Southern Nevada…..watch out for the desert tortoise and jack rabbits which are abundant out on the trail.
If you want some solitude in the wild untouched backroads of the West….this race is for you!
