2011 100K Course Information
Description
100K Course For 2011
All races begin at Beal’s Point and then do an out and back South along the bike path for 1-4 miles depending upon the race.
The 50K then runs to New Rattlesnake and back to the finish line at Beal’s Point.
The 100K then runs to the Cool Fire Station and back to the finish line at Beal’s Point.
The 100 mile then runs to Cool Fire Station, continues around the Knickerbocker Loop, back to Twin Rocks, turns around and goes back to the bottom of Cardiac Hill, and then turns around again to the finish line at Beal’s Point.
Note:
- Beal’s Point is 1.5 miles from the old start/finish line at Cavitt School
- New Rattlesnake is at Rattlesnake Bar but is about half a mile further along the trail then the Old Rattlesnake aid station used to be.
- Time Limits: 100 mile 32 hours, 100K 18 hours, 50K 12 hours
2011 Course Description for 100 K
The 100K course Starts from Beal’s point and heads south along a short out and back on the bike path. The course then heads to aid stations, Twin Rocks, Horseshoe Bar, New Rattlesnake, Cardiac Hill, Auburn Overlook, No Hands Bridge, then the turnaround at Cool Fire Station and back to the Finish line at Beal’s Point. The 100K course does not continue past Cool Fire Station. You can read a detailed description of the aid station points on the 100 mile course description page.
