2011 Description
Rio Del Lago 50K course is a beautiful scenic run on rolling trails along Folsom Lake. This out-and-back course starts at Beal’s Point and follows the 100 mile course through Twin Rocks, Horseshoe Bar with a turnaround at New Rattlesnake Bar. Runners returning to Beal’s Point experience stunning views as they continue through thick forests along the water. This trail holds some of the most gorgeous scenery in California. Runners pass over rustic bridges, through lush pathways, and alongside beautiful Avery Pond.
